They had people that came in to play music. The cafeteria was right there in front, and it was very neat, clean, and tidy. They had a lot of staff that would come in, do waste baskets, clean up your room a little bit, or change your linens.

Making sure residents with diabetes monitor their insulin levels is clearly an important task and River Lodge Assisted Living can help with that task. If a resident needs assistance moving from a bed to a wheelchair, this facility has staff who can help. Riverlodge has more trees around the facility. I wouldn't want to live there right now, but I just thought it was a little better than the other ones we visited. The staff provided more information and I just liked it better. I didn't see activities going on at the time I was there.

Please visit our Privacy Policy for information about our privacy practices. On a tour of River Lodge Assisted Living I asked about the smoking policy. Residents are permitted to smoke in certain areas. One of those places is on the patio of the person's apartment--which may adjoin another apartment. If you are a non-smoker you would have no control over what smells drift into your space.

We also honor their individuality and independence. The wealth of experience our administrative and directorial staff have is nearly a century combined. They bring with them an extensive amount of knowledge and a wide variety of skills. We help people to find a best option of senior living for themselves and their close elder relatives.

They just want to take care of my parents. I have eaten there several times with them. They do outings, exercise, and crafts.

They have a little movie theater. We send you a fresh package of our blog and new senior living options around the web. Staff is awake and available 24 hours a day so if any emergencies occur no matter the time, there will be someone ready to help.
Reviews of RiverLodge Assisted Living
He had a single bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, and a little kitchen, but he also had a patio so he could go outside and smoke if he wanted to. She had lived with my grandmother her entire life and when my grandmother passed away suddenly we were anxious to figure out the best living arrangements for my aunt. My aunt needed more assistance than we were able to consistently provide in our homes, but my aunt felt like we were "putting her away"....until Riverlodge. Moments after we starting touring the facility, she began smiling. We could just see the hope bloom in her.
The staff, the ones I met, was very nice. Everybody else who lives there who we know seem to think they were very, very nice. There were a lot of activities. They have movie and game rooms.
It has been 2 years now and she has blossomed into an independent amazing woman. They listen to her concerns, problem solve when necessary and there is always something for her to do. She is happier than I have EVER seen her. I feel so blessed that we found RIverlodge, I wish my grandmother had been alive to see it! It is a beautiful facility, the staff are caring and it feels more like a vacation lodge than an assisted living center.
Being able to chat with other residents becomes an important part of many peoples' lives and River Lodge Assisted Living offers common spaces indoors to support that need. My son is a resident at RiverLodge Assisted Living. Scott was not really happy there; he didn’t want to be put there. He gets forgotten in his room sometimes. Not that he needed anything, but he needed the interaction with other people. It was a beautiful place, and the director was wonderful.
It has very wide halls which was good with railings you can hold on to. Everybody was very pleasant when we were there. You can have fully assisted care where nurses would come in. They had one and two bedroom apartments which were a little bit larger.

It was relatively new, very private, and had a lot of activities for them to do. It’s off the road and has lots of trees around. It was a little hilly, so there was no place for somebody like Scott to walk outside too much, but the lobby was wonderful.
Besides the price, it was nice, and the rooms were small. We really liked the rooms at RiverLodge Assisted Living. Everything was very professional and very clean.
